Anthropomorphic Dreams

I filed this under prints, but it is a combined media piece.  I used cut-out shapes for the solar printing.  I learned the name commonly used for the technique is Heliotype.  I then used watercolor paint as the base and placed the cut-outs on the page in the sun.  I exposed pieces for different times.  Some of them came out darker, while others were more faded which gave the piece a 3-D effect.  Then I used more paints, acrylic and watercolor with oil pastel.  This is an original.  11″ x 14″.  2019
