Strawberry Moon

On this piece, I utilized old woodcut prints and collaged them in during a Strawberry Moon which is the full moon in June.  Of course, the full moon was strawberry color, and it my yard was coming to life.  I collaged other objects and papers, used acrylic paints and then, oil pastel to help pick up the textures in the shallow relief.  It’s a mixed media (combined media) and acrylic painting.  It measures 36″ x 20″ horizontal picture plane.  I completed it in 2016.
